JTAG Debuggers

These allow the software operation to be debugged and developed in the actual circuit board for which it is designed. This allows it to interact with all the real hardware, e.g. sensors and displays.Real signals can then be examined using an Oscilloscope or Logic Analyzer while developing the software.
